Биография
Christian McIntire began his film career as an actor in 1980 but transitioned behind the camera in 1996, taking on roles such as editor, writer, visual effects artist, director, and producer.
While at Unified Film Organization, he oversaw all aspects of production and post-production, serving as staff editor, post-production supervisor, and eventually head of production.
During his time there, he edited twelve films, directed second units on numerous projects, produced three films, wrote four, and directed five feature films, including the NAACP Image Award-nominated Phantom Force.
His interest in visual effects developed from working on effects-heavy films, leading him to master advanced computer graphics techniques.
He initially handled effects shots on his own films, later supervising a major effects sequence for Warner Brothers’ Peter Hyams film A Sound of Thunder, and eventually founded Clockwork Planet, a visual effects company that contributed to several films, including SyFy Channel productions like the popular Warbirds.
Since 2010, McIntire has collaborated with Rogue State, lending his production and post-production expertise to over twenty projects, while also developing original content for cable networks such as SyFy, Comedy Central, and Adult Swim.
