Classically trained with two decades of experience in film, television, and theater, Cris is a hazel-eyed, versatile actor who effortlessly adapts to a wide range of roles—from victims, underdogs, and heroes to attorneys, nerds, doctors, and complex villains.
Despite his "middle-aged, 40-something" appearance, he still enjoys skating and breakdancing from time to time. Cris has expertly portrayed characters from Shakespearean plays to Pulitzer Prize-winning works by Sam Shepard, highlighting his broad talent. Recently, he demonstrated his range in the lead role of Carl in the indie feature "Squat" and received praise for his performance as Cameron Matthews in the award-winning "Haunting At Woodland Hills" (also known as "Vacant House").
This film was screened at the prestigious Festival de Cannes, and Cris was honored with a Best Actor in a Leading Role nomination at the CineRocKom International Film Festival. Holding a bachelor's degree in Theater Acting from the University of Southern Indiana and a Master's in Film Directing from Regent University, Cris continues to hone his craft through the Meisner Technique, ongoing education, and various acting coaches.
As a filmmaker, Cris has produced two feature films, over 20 documentaries, and more than 100 short films, demonstrating a strong dedication to diverse storytelling. Beyond acting and filmmaking, he brings a unique combination of skills including screenwriting, skateboarding, rollerblading, snowboarding, guitar playing, breakdancing, actor coaching, directing, and cinematography.
