Erica Rivera, an Atlanta native, has been a seasoned singer, actress, dancer, and songwriter since the age of seven. She has made waves in the music and entertainment industries with performances and acting roles worldwide. Her latest single, "Elevation," accompanied by a music video released on YouTube, showcases her catchy and captivating vocals, generating significant buzz. With thousands of views and growing, "Elevation" is also available on iTunes.
Originally from Philadelphia and now residing there after living in Orlando, Los Angeles, and Atlanta, Erica is no stranger to the limelight. By age 12, she had already completed a major tour across the United States and Europe, was previously signed to Atlantic Records, and held a recurring role as Bianca on Disney Channel's "That's So Raven" and "The Proud Family," in addition to contributing to several major motion picture soundtracks.
Erica began her career at seven with a lead role in the Central Florida Theatre production of "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory." The following month, she joined the renowned "Civic Kids," a youth troupe that toured nationally performing singing and acting acts. Over the years, she performed extensively throughout Florida and the region in shows, concerts, events, and fairs. At age 10, she was selected from thousands to appear as a special child performer on the "Jenny Jones" Show. By 12, she had sung the National Anthem at numerous Orlando Magic games, toured Europe as part of the "YOU" Tour, and won the McDonald's Regional Championship Talent Search, earning a spot on "Showtime at the Apollo."
Her soulful blend of R&B, Pop, and Urban music has opened doors to collaborations with esteemed producers, writers, and music executives such as Bryan Michael Cox, The-Dream, Ne-Yo, Keri Hilson, Kandi Burruss, and Sean Garrett. Working with these platinum-selling talents has allowed Erica to build valuable relationships and achieve milestones that continue to inspire her.
Erica’s music has also been featured on major film soundtracks, including Lionsgate’s "Akeelah and the Bee" and Warner Brothers’ "What A Girl Wants." Beyond singing, songwriting, and acting, she lent her voice to the character Agatha Ordinario on Disney’s animated series "The Proud Family." Her career is poised for continued success in music, songwriting, and acting into 2011 and beyond.
In addition to her creative pursuits, Erica is following in her father’s footsteps as an emerging female tattoo artist, bringing a unique artistic vision to her tattoo work.
