Max Isaacson is a Cuban-American director renowned for his contributions to genre filmmaking. His notable film PARADISE (Tubi), a tropical punk western featuring Patricia Allison, Tate Donovan, and Tia Carrere, premiered in the US at Cinequest 2024. His other projects include PIPE, starring Zoë Bell and Tracie Thoms, and WHISPERS, which screened at Fantastic Fest 2013 and the Florida Film Festival 2014. Isaacson has directed content for brands such as Con-Air, HBO, Kia, Tommy Hilfiger, and Ralph Lauren, and has written and directed for FX, AMC, and BBC America.
With over ten years of directing experience, he has also worked as a production designer for numerous companies, including NBC, Nickelodeon, SyFy, Diane Von Furstenberg, Reese's Peanut Butter, and multiple television seasons for Travel Channel, Discovery ID, and ESPN. Additionally, he designed costumes for LCD Soundsystem, creating the iconic spacesuits featured on the cover and liner notes of their album Sounds of Silver, in their music video "North American Scum," and during their final performance at Madison Square Garden.
