Aaron Jackson gained recognition for his role as Mark Winkle, one of the lead singers, on NBC's live-action musical comedy series California Dreams.
Before landing his role on California Dreams, Aaron appeared in numerous theatrical productions, including Bye-Bye Birdie, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Tea and Sympathy, Torch Song Trilogy, Guys and Dolls, Rumors, and the critically acclaimed Bobby Sox It To Ya. Recently, he returned to the stage starring in Arsenic and Old Lace, The Owl and the Pussycat, The Mousetrap, and Harvey at the Cultural Arts Theatre.
His television work also includes appearances on Silk Stalkings and a teen talk show pilot called Impact. Aaron is set to star as Raoul in the upcoming TV pilot Coney Island.
His film credits feature Lorenzo's Oil, From Venus, Children of the Corn: Fields of Terror (based on Stephen King's book Children of the Corn), Wicked Spring, Heaven's Neighbor, Tangy Guacamole, Captain, An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge (a remake of the 1962 Academy Award-winning film), The Pain Within, and Biophage.
In addition to acting, Aaron has directed films such as Cross to the Other and Ghost Story Chronicles. He recently completed directing the award-winning film Fighting a War of My Own and is currently producing The Bar Mitzvah.
Aaron has appeared in various national commercials, including an AIDS PSA for which he received the Ace Award.
He takes great pride in mentoring aspiring actors, traveling nationwide to coach emerging talent in monologue and audition preparation, scene study, character analysis, and improvisation.
With 18 years as a motivational speaker, Aaron founded Dangerous Curves Productions in 2007. His mission is to help students make positive life choices by speaking across the country about the dangers of drug and alcohol use, the impacts of bullying, and setting achievable goals. He collaborates closely with non-profit organizations such as D.A.R.E., Make-A-Wish, St. Jude's Hospital, Special Olympics, the Love Ride for MDA, and the Ami Thom Foundation, among others.
