Pauline started her entertainment career in publicity at ABC-owned Los Angeles radio stations KABC and KLOS, where she assisted with talent relations, talent booking, concert promotions, and remote broadcasts. In the 1980s, she moved to ABC's television network division and quickly embarked on a casting career. Rising through the casting department ranks from Executive Assistant to Director, Pauline served as Director of Casting until 2001. In this role, she oversaw casting for ABC's primetime drama series, drama pilots, made-for-TV movies, and mini-series, collaborating with producers such as Stephen Cannell, David Lynch, Thomas Carter, Ed Zwick, Marshall Herkovitz, David Manson, Steven Bochco, and Zadan/Meron. In 2001, Pauline became Vice President of Casting at Fox Broadcasting Company, where she managed casting for Fox’s drama series and pilots including "House," "The O.C.," "Bones," "Prison Break," and the Emmy-winning series "24."
Pauline is honored to have been featured in the 2005 "Hollywood Power Issue" of Latino Leaders Magazine, to have received the Innovative Entertainment Award from the Multicultural Motion Picture Association in 2006, and to have collaborated with the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival for six years.
