Roxana is an actor with a PhD in drama teaching who has experience across multiple entertainment platforms, including film, theatre, commercials, role play, and drama facilitation. Originally from Romania, she is now based in London and works internationally.
She began her acting training at the prestigious National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest, earning a Bachelor's degree, a Master's, and completing her PhD in drama teaching in 2013 with a thesis titled "The Triad - The Character, the Public and the Persona," which incorporated elements of quantum physics. Throughout her studies and post-graduation, she participated in numerous theatre productions such as "The Twelfth Night," "The Taming of the Shrew," "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," and "Hedda Gabler," among others. She was also invited to perform at festivals including the L'Aria International Theatre Festival in Corsica, France, the International Theatre School Festival Olive, and the Young Actor's Festival in Romania.
Roxana has a strong passion for Shakespeare's work, having been part of the Shakespeare Festival at the Comic Theatre in Bucharest, where she played Olivia in "The Twelfth Night." After relocating to London, she portrayed young Queen Elizabeth in the drama reconstructions "Inside Buckingham Palace" and the acclaimed "Inside Windsor Castle," both specially commissioned for Channel 5. Additionally, she took on the role of Ana in the five-star West End play "BU21," which ran at Trafalgar Studios in 2017 and earned positive reviews from The Independent, The Guardian, The Times, and others.
