Mónica Beatriz Lairana Navas, known professionally as Mónica Lairana, is an Argentine actress, director, screenwriter, and producer.
Raised in Olivos, Buenos Aires, she comes from Bolivian parents: her mother, Rosario, was a dressmaker in La Paz, and her father, Roberto, a musician from Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Demonstrating a passion for acting early on, Lairana began performing at age five and received formal training at fourteen with Manuel Macarini and Isaac Eisen at Irma Roy's school. She further refined her skills under Raúl Serrano, completing her studies in 2001.
Lairana's career developed within Argentina's film industry, evolving from minor roles to prominent projects.
