Jisaura is a down-to-earth actor recognized for portraying spirited survivors, lovable fighters, bold outsiders, and endearing troublemakers—characters driven by grit, sass, humor, and heart. Born in New Zealand and raised traveling the globe with her family's internationally acclaimed circus act, she developed early on the ability to stand tall, fight for justice, and find humor amid chaos—qualities she now channels into her screen performances.
Fluent in English, Spanish, Italian, French, and Portuguese, she brings a global energy, resilience, and attitude to every role. Drawing on 20 years of experience spanning theater, Shakespeare, improv, dance, and film, she began her journey with rigorous training at Booker Visual and Performing Arts School, where she earned her Performing Arts Diploma.
Her education encompasses on-camera audition techniques (G Charles Wright Studios, Katt Shea), scene study and cold reading with Anthony Meindl, TV/film coaching with Kevin Sizemore, audiobook narration with Elise Arsenault, dubbing workshops with Andy Roth, and voiceover coaching with Mark Sussman and Susan Boyajian/Roger Scott. She has also completed commercial training with Killian's Commercial Workshop and Bill Coelius, alongside stunt training that includes certifications in handgun handling and tactical holster use (ITTS, two certificates), as well as Muay Thai, kickboxing, archery, Tae Kwon Do, and Karate.
After relocating to Los Angeles, she honed her on-camera skills further and expanded into film and television. Jisaura embodies bold-hearted fighters, keen-eyed outsiders, and spirited survivors—those who speak their truth, dismiss nonsense, and stand firm in battles worth fighting. While her physical training includes handgun handling, her unique strength lies in blending toughness with a playful, goofy spirit—delivering grit and humor with equal force.
Her recent work includes roles such as Buttercup in Powerpuff Girls: The Long Way Back, Casey in Big Top Evil, lead roles in The Deal, The Alpha's Unwanted Bride (Meredith Quinn), Pobre Diabla, Refugio, and Age of Stone & Sky.
