Zeus Zamani is an innovative producer and entertainment executive with more than 17 years of experience in film, television, and commercial production. Known for his expertise in development, production, and distribution, he has successfully managed projects across various genres, forging partnerships with leading studios and streaming platforms worldwide.
Zamani began his producing career in 2009 with Somebody Help Me 2, an urban horror film that premiered on BET on Halloween. He went on to produce Battlefield America (2013), an urban dance drama released in over 600 theaters nationwide, and No Vacancy (2012), which was distributed by Lionsgate. Transitioning into television, Zamani was executive producer of Cypher, a seven-episode crime drama that marked the first exclusive premiere on The Roku Channel. His TV credits also include producing the Netflix Original series Jinn and the acclaimed superhero series Jupiter's Legacy (2019). Additionally, he worked as a unit producer on Hulu’s Emmy-winning series The Handmaid’s Tale.
From 2018 to 2021, Zamani produced six family-friendly films, all distributed by Lionsgate. In 2022, he reunited with Lionsgate to produce the murder mystery Invitation To a Murder, which achieved commercial success and spawned a sequel, Murder at the Embassy, produced in 2024. His latest achievement is the action/sci-fi blockbuster Angels Fallen: Warriors of Peace, starring Cuba Gooding Jr. Released on Amazon Prime Video, it became the platform’s #1 most-watched movie in November 2024, staying in the Top 10 for over four weeks. In 2024, Zamani ventured into unscripted television as executive producer of Estate of Survival, an eight-episode reality series created in partnership with LG and Amazon Prime Video, premiering that summer. In 2025, he produced the US unit of the globally record-breaking Netflix series Squid Game Season 3.
Since founding AZ Films in 2007, Zamani has developed an award-winning commercial division specializing in large-scale international campaigns for Fortune 500 clients such as Kia, Hyundai, LG, Starbucks, MGM Resorts, and Samsung. His hands-on leadership has taken him worldwide, overseeing productions in South Korea, Dubai, the United Kingdom, Turkey, Iceland, Sweden, Austria, Macedonia, Puerto Rico, and the Dominican Republic, among others.
With a proven record of securing financing, producing, and negotiating distribution deals for over 50 feature films and television projects, Zeus Zamani remains a key figure in the dynamic entertainment industry.
