Vladimir Brichta has built a vast career as an actor, earning some of Brazil's most prestigious awards in theater, television, and film. His journey started in 1993 with the theatrical production "Inspetor Geral" in Bahia, the northeastern city where he grew up. Since then, he has appeared in numerous stage productions, including "Uma História Sem Fim," "A Casa de Eros," "Eu, Brecht," "Equus," "Baal," "Calígula," "A Máquina," "Mamãe Não Pode Saber," "Os Produtores (The Producers)," "A Hora e a Vez de Augusto Matraga," "Hamelin," and "Arte." These roles earned him significant recognition and awards in theater. On television, he has been featured in over 15 telenovelas and series such as "Porto dos Milagres," "Coração de Estudante," "Faça Sua História," "Separação?!," "Justiça" (which received an International Emmy nomination), and "Rock Story," where he played the lead character Gui Santana. Concurrently, Brichta has maintained a steady presence in cinema with films like "Paisagem de Meninos," "A Máquina," "Fica Comigo Essa Noite," "Romance," "A Mulher Invisível," "Quincas Berro D'Água," "A Coleção Invisível," "Muitos Homens Num Só," "Minutos Atrás," "Real Beleza," the voice role in "Minions," "Um Homem Só," "Vai que Dá Certo 2," and his most recent film, "Bingo: The King of the Mornings" (2017), which was Brazil’s submission for an Oscar nomination.
