Frank T. Ziede is a Midwest-based Writer and Director, recognized for his dynamic action work. He has contributed to numerous films and created the military action series BLACK, featuring actual military veterans. His projects have earned several film festival accolades, including Best Action/Adventure at the 2015 and 2016 Hollywed Awards.
Originally from Arizona, Frank began acting at a young age. He attended the South Mountain Center for the Performing Arts in Phoenix, a high school with a strong arts curriculum where he specialized in acting, singing, and dancing. During this period, he hosted the show VIDEO HIGH, which won the 1991-1992 Rocky Mountain Emmy Award for Outstanding Children's Program.
Frank continued his training at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Pasadena, CA, an esteemed institution with notable alumni such as Robert Redford, Danny DeVito, and Kirk Douglas. After completing the two-year program, he remained in Los Angeles, working as an actor and pursuing a career as a professional hip-hop dancer.
His dance career lasted over eight years and included collaborations with artists like Celine Dion, Usher, Ginuwine, Svala, Rockapella, as well as performances for Universal Studios and Nickelodeon. After meeting his wife, Frank relocated to Chicago and shifted his focus primarily to filmmaking. Additionally, he has worked as a trade show spokesperson for companies such as Sony, Intel, Dewar's, and Colgate. He is also a professional automotive facilitator and trainer, partnering with manufacturers including MINI, BMW, Land Rover, Jaguar, and others.
