With an Elizabethan complexion, fiery hair, a dancer’s physique, a sprinkle of freckles, and expressive eyes that reveal hidden depths, Estelle Terblanche exudes intrigue and unexpected surprises. She carries an ethereal aura balanced by a touch of quirkiness. A determined survivor with delicate strength, she is the eager perfectionist whose inner free spirit longs to break loose. An independent feminist intellectual who harbors a secret hopeless romantic heart. The endearingly awkward nerd. The quiet best friend who ultimately wins the love interest. After earning her B.Dram from Stellenbosch University, focusing on theatre acting and physical theatre, she gained film industry experience working as a casting assistant. She continues to hone her craft through numerous film acting courses and workshops, most recently training with Matthew Harrison of The Actor’s Foundry in Vancouver. Her body of work spans Films (House Party, The Price of Sugar, Hollywood in my Huis), Television (SAF3, Bolandmoorde, Troy: The Fall of a City), Theatre (#actorslife, Dreams, Ghost Story, Boekbuddies), and Short Films (To the Passerby, I Was Here, Die Onderspit). Alongside collaborating with fellow creatives, Estelle is committed to developing her own projects to tell stories she deeply believes in. Her writing includes a children’s book, short films, theatre and television reviews, an eco-vlog, a lifestyle blog, a one-woman show, and a feature film script. Estelle’s mission is to demonstrate that true magic comes from embracing yourself fully—flaws and all. After all, “Anything is possible if you have enough nerve!” — a quote from J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter.
