He began his involvement in filmmaking during his studies at MTE, contributing to István Szabó's Meeting Venus (1991). While still a student, he created a short film series for Hungarian Television. In 1989, he joined Focusfilm, initially as a production manager and later as an executive producer. Alongside producing various international commercials, he directed a documentary on Hungary's historical transformations titled Hungary '89.
Starting in 1991, as Managing Director of Teleshop Ltd., he was responsible for producing an hour of televised content each month. In 1992, he took on the role of producer and head of production for Róbert Pajer's Bukfenc (1993). That same year, he returned to Focusfilm, producing commercials and short films for Hungarian Television's magazine program, Hello, World!
In 1993, he founded Laurinfilm and began collaborating with Eleonóra Peták on promising scripts, including Szél (1994) and Glamour (1999). In 1995, he produced Ildikó Szabó's Csajok (1995), which competed at the 1996 Berlin Film Festival.
In 1996, he produced the feature Waltz D8 (1996) in co-production with MTV-FMS, directed by Gábor Oláh J. He also produced Frigyes Gödrös's Glamour (1999), which won Best Film, Best Producer, and Best Sound at the 31st Hungarian Film Festival and was showcased in the Panorama section of the 2000 Berlin Film Festival.
From July 2000, he served as CEO of the Mafilm Group. During his tenure, Mafilm participated in the production of Tony Scott's Spy Game (2001). In May 2001, he returned to Laurinfilm and acted as the Hungarian line producer for I Spy (2002), directed by Betty Thomas.
