Karen Ann "Karencitta" Cabrera, also known as Karedad, is an actress, recording artist, lyricist, and internet personality from Cebu City, Philippines, currently based in Los Angeles, California, and signed with Capitol Records. On July 22, 2018, she served as a judge for Miss Philippines U.S.A. 2018.
She gained recognition as a hit-maker in November 2017 with the Sinulog Electronic-Dance-Pop track "Cebuana," which became the No. 1 Most Viral Music on Spotify and whose music video surpassed one million views within 24 hours.
Born on October 5, 1995, she showed early talent by winning various beauty and talent contests. At age four, she made her television debut on Little Miss Philippines, Eat Bulaga (G.M.A.), and was a Grand Finalist for Little Miss Friendship 2000. After releasing her first mixtape, "So Help Me God Vol. 1," in 2014, she gained recognition in the Hip-Hop community as Abra's only female emcee during the ABRA2013 Grand Concert. She joined the ABRA2013 Tour alongside LDP, Loonie, Ron Henley, Mike Swift, J-Hon, and others.
In 2015, she starred in Omri Dorani's "Funny Man," marking her feature film debut. In November 2016, she began posting short-form comedy skits on Facebook, quickly becoming an internet sensation with over 5 million views and more than 700,000 followers online.
She was scheduled to film the Philippine movie "Indak" with co-stars Yassi Pressman and Ella Cruz in summer 2018.
