Daniel Elijah Rudin is a rising artist known as an actor, voice actor, writer, and producer.
Born in Tarzana, California, to Drorit Pobuta, a yoga instructor, and Barry Rudin, a ticket broker and CEO of Barry’s Tickets, he has Persian and Russian Jewish heritage. He attended Heschel West Jewish Day School, Lindero Canyon Middle School, and Agoura High School.
As an actor, Rudin appeared in the web series UnderPaid, portraying Michael, a character with amnesia declared 51/50. He played Randy Melrose in the popular Netflix film The Kissing Booth, took on the role of Jacob Speilberg in the indie film Tranquil Inferno: A Story about Black Wall Street, and appeared as a drama student in the Daily Wire film Run Hide Fight.
Transitioning into screenwriting, Rudin wrote, produced, and starred in the short film Bad Undercover Cops, which won Best Comedy Short at the Spring Grove Caledonia Film Festival. His feature screenplay Friday Night has earned 13 festival selections, five finalist nods, and two awards. He is currently producing the animated comedy pilot Double D’s, which was selected for the Atlanta Comedy Film Festival. Additionally, he won an award at the L.A. Neo Noir Novel, Film, and Script Online Festival for his action-adventure animated pilot Mutants of Speedville.
Rudin resides in Los Angeles.
