జీవిత చరిత్ర
Pierre Marc Trudeau is an animator, director, and screenwriter born in Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada, in 1961. Between 1983 and 1986, he studied film at Concordia University in Montreal, specializing in Fine Arts with a focus on animation. Alongside a group of filmmakers, he co-founded Ciné-Clic to produce public service announcements. He directed around 15 animated films, including "Last Call Blues" (1985) and "Buston Keater" (1986). After winning the 1987-1988 NFB "Cinéaste recherché(e)" competition, he created his first professional film, "Enfantillage," which addressed the sensitive topic of domestic violence. This poignant work showcases his unique style, using construction paper to craft his puppets. Following training at the NAD Center, Trudeau began creating films with Softimage software, producing "C'est Coucou! Monsieur Edgar," followed by "Opération Coucou." These shorts, featuring the charming clockwork cuckoo Edgar, offer a witty exploration of fatherhood, adoption, and family ties. After working in France as an animator on "Ruzz et Ben" (2004), he produced and directed "Les Anges Déchets" (2008), blending recycled objects and 3D animation, as well as "Triptyque: Tripes, entrailles, viscères" (2012) and "Raised to be Hero" (2013). Pierre M. Trudeau’s work, aimed at children, is noted for its subtlety and social engagement without any heavy-handedness.
