Jennifer Dundas began her acting career as a child, debuting on Broadway at age 10, on television at 11, and in film at 12. Hailing from Newton, MA, she frequently traveled for work during her childhood, accompanied by her mother and often her three brothers. After pausing her career to attend Brown University, she resumed her New York-based career, focusing mainly on stage roles with recurring parts in television and film. She gained recognition for playing Chris, Diane Keaton's lesbian daughter, in "The First Wives Club."
Throughout her film and theatre career, Dundas has performed alongside notable actors such as Meryl Streep, Sally Field, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Stockard Channing, Billy Crudup, Annette Bening, Robert Redford, Diane Keaton, Vanessa Redgrave, Jason Robards, and Colleen Dewhurst. In 2007, she took a break from acting to found Blue Marble Organic Ice Cream in Brooklyn. Over ten years, she grew the business from a single storefront into a multi-million-dollar brand available in grocery stores across more than 15 states. She also co-founded Blue Marble Dreams, a non-profit dedicated to creating jobs for unemployed women and fostering safe, supportive spaces in communities affected by trauma. Their first shop, Inzozi Nziza, opened in Rwanda in 2010, followed by Bel Rev in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, in 2015.
In 2017, Steven Spielberg invited her back to acting, casting her as Liz Hylton, Katherine Graham's personal assistant, in The Post alongside Meryl Streep and Tom Hanks. At the same time, she was cast in The Looming Tower (2018) as U.S. Attorney Mary Jo White, a role requested by writer Dan Futterman.
