Danni Suzuki is one of the most influential artists of Asian descent in Brazil. She is an actress, TV host, director, screenwriter, and international speaker. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from PUC-RJ and a Postgraduate degree in Neuroscience from PUC-RS, she also teaches in the Postgraduate programs on Digital Influence and Neuromarketing at PUC-RS. With over 35 years of experience in the arts, she studied acting and directing at the New York Film Academy (NY and LA) and has served twice as a juror for the International Emmy Awards. Danni built a strong career at one of Brazil's leading television networks, where she worked for nearly two decades, becoming a historic figure as the first Asian-Brazilian actress to star in a Brazilian feature film. She created and wrote a series for Amazon Prime in Brazil and worked as a screenwriter for Prime Video in the U.S. Her film "Pulso" earned her awards as director and screenwriter at various national and international festivals, including the Olympus Film Festival, the Braziliam Film Festival (LABRIFF) in Los Angeles, and the Mar del Plata International Festival in Argentina. After the success of the feature film "Segredos" in theaters and on Prime Video, which earned her a Best Actress nomination at the Marbella International Film Festival in Spain, Danni is set to return in 2025 with the second season of the reality show "New Faces" on E! Entertainment and will join the main cast of two new productions: "(In)Vulneráveis" on E! and "Capoeiras," a Disney+ series. A dedicated social activist, Danni Suzuki was recently named a High Profile Supporter of UNHCR, the United Nations Refugee Agency, recognizing her ongoing commitment to social causes, particularly refugee issues, which she has passionately supported for over eight years. She has been a prominent voice in campaigns such as #EchoTheseVoices, highlighting the stories of forcibly displaced women. Danni has visited refugee camps in Syria, Lebanon, Turkey, and along the Brazil-Venezuela border to witness firsthand the challenges faced by vulnerable populations. These experiences inspired her to create the documentary "S.Ó.S.," a powerful work shedding light on the struggles of refugee children fighting for survival and dignity. She has also served as an ambassador for U.S.-based NGOs "Waves for Water" and "Make a Wish," and has led her own social projects for more than 25 years. A highly sought-after speaker with four TEDx talks, she ranks among the top 10 most requested speakers in Brazil according to DMT.
