Los Angeles-based actress Catherine "Cat" Healy trained at the renowned Stella Adler Conservatory, Janet Alhanti Studios, and The Groundlings Improv School. She gained recognition through supporting roles on prime-time television, including appearances on "JAG," MTV's "Undressed," and Showtime's "The Cool & The Crazy," alongside Alicia Silverstone and Jared Leto.
A significant life transformation led Cat to the imaginative world of avant-garde cirque arts, encompassing fire dancing, vaudeville, variety shows, cirque productions, and body airbrush art. She captivated audiences as the fire dancer featured on the jumbotron during Usher's live world tour performance of "Hot Tottie." Cat has also performed, painted, and produced events at venues like The Playboy Mansion, HBO, Disney World, corporate gatherings, and various festivals.
Cat also established herself in comedy, writing, producing, and starring in two short films, The Interview, Vegan and Then Sum, both of which earned acclaim on the film festival circuit. Collectively, the films received 18 nominations and 7 awards. The Across the Globe Film Festival honored her team with two best actor nominations and one best director nomination. Additionally, she earned Awards of Excellence for both comedy shorts from The IndieFEST Film Awards and the Calcutta International Cult Film Festival, along with an Outstanding Achievement Award for Vegan and Then Sum.
Her recent work includes a lead role in the upcoming thriller Twisted Date from Fox Entertainment, set for release in 2023, a starring role in the horror film Reeds Point, voice dubbing for the Netflix series You Cannot Hide, and supporting roles in Middleton Christmas, featuring Michael Pare and Eileen Davidson, as well as in D-Railed (2018) opposite sci-fi legend Lance Henriksen. D-Railed has accumulated 53 wins and 17 nominations.
