జీవిత చరిత్ర
Steven Moreti grew up in Philadelphia, raised by his determined Italian-American mother. As the eldest of four siblings, he often sacrificed after-school activities to take on caregiving responsibilities. Lacking a male role model, Steven sought his own path, excelling in Mixed Martial Arts, tennis, running, swimming, motorsports, and horseback riding. Without guidance, Moreti taught himself and achieved remarkable success. Uninterested in the conventional path, he entered the workforce early after leaving high school.
He has worked in nearly every field imaginable, from baker to longshoreman, including various construction jobs. Moreti even trained with the United States Postal Service aiming to become a letter carrier. Despite finding success in many roles, he struggled to commit to a lifelong career.
As the 1990s came to a close and the daily grind of labor took its toll, Moreti faced a turning point: should he pursue acting or attend college? His striking looks and intense gaze had attracted local industry attention, but when he shared his Hollywood aspirations with family and friends, they responded with caution. So, he chose college. Four years later, this former high school dropout graduated at the top of his class and secured sought-after computer programming jobs. Though unrelated to acting, this detour was a learning experience. Realizing his true passion, Steven returned to his acting coach and reconnected with contacts who had been scouting him for modeling and commercial work.
Before relocating west, Steven built a successful career in Philadelphia’s film and television scene, appearing in films like "In Her Shoes," "Invincible," and "Annapolis." On set, he worked alongside director Peter Jackson and actors Samuel L. Jackson, Mark Wahlberg, and Toni Collette. He also featured in numerous local and regional commercials and had a recurring role as City Developer Sean on HBO's "The Wire."
A longtime admirer of soap operas, Steven gained valuable experience with multiple appearances on "The Bold and the Beautiful" after moving west. He then embraced the challenge of portraying an alcoholic in the comedy "Bottleworld."
Moreti is thoroughly enjoying living his dream, dividing his time between work on the West Coast and family on the East Coast. "It's a hell of a commute," he says, "but well worth it.
