Mark Costa, a producer and senior production executive, brings over 20 years of experience in television, film, and digital media. Passionate about storytelling, Costa moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in entertainment after earning degrees in Communication and Political Science from Old Dominion University. He has since produced hundreds of hours of critically acclaimed content. His television work includes the comedy series Dream Corp, LLC, Mr. Neighbor's House, Joe Pera Talks With You, Black Jesus, Children's Hospital, Tropical Cop Tales, and Tim & Eric's Bedtime Stories. Both Dream Corp, LLC and Mr. Neighbor's House were named among the New York Times' best shows of 2016. Beyond comedy, Costa has produced documentary and dramatic series such as Confrontation for A&E Network, High School Confidential for WE, Marvel's Blade: The Series for Spike Television, and Level Up and Tower Prep for Cartoon Network. He has produced pilots and series for both linear and digital platforms including NBC, CBS, TNT, MTV, Comedy Central, USA, Lifetime, ABC Digital, and the Oscars. In feature films, Costa executive produced What If for CBS Films, a romantic comedy starring Daniel Radcliffe and Zoe Kazan that was an Official Selection at the Toronto Film Festival. He also executive produced the indie feature Dear Sidewalk starring Joe Mazzello and Michelle Forbes, and produced The Donner Party for First Look Pictures, a period drama about the 1846 Donner tragedy featuring Crispin Glover. More recently, he produced The Suplex Duplex Complex, which won at the SXSW Festival in 2017, and The Pound Hole, an Official Selection at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival. Costa is a member of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, the Hollywood Radio and Television Society, and the Producers Guild of America. He has scouted, budgeted, and produced content domestically and internationally, including in Canada, Mexico, Europe, Eastern Europe, Africa, New Zealand, and China.
