Danielle Baker, born and raised in Tampa, Florida, is the youngest of three sisters. She began dance classes at the age of two, quickly revealing her natural talent and passion for performing. With her outgoing personality and fearless attitude, it was evident that performing was her true calling. At five, she started competing in dance. During her teenage years, Danielle developed a strong interest in theatre. At sixteen, she was accepted as an apprentice at The Broadway Theatre Project, where she trained and worked with renowned artists such as Ben Vereen, Ann Reinking, Nancy Dussault, Dave Clemmons, and Frank Wildhorn. In her senior year of high school, Danielle was cast as Carmen Diaz, the lead in the Tampa Bay production of the musical "Fame." After four years at a Performing Arts High School, majoring in dance, she continued her studies at The University of Arizona, earning a B.F.A. in dance.
While attending the University of Arizona, Danielle discovered a desire to pursue acting alongside dance. She auditioned for several short films and landed the lead role in the film Alone, further confirming her passion for acting. Upon graduating, she moved to New York City.
In New York, Danielle signed with the agency MSA and began auditioning for Broadway productions. She secured a role in a short film with Vincent Pastore, reinforcing her love for acting. Danielle also performed as a member of The Angels, a cover band based in Atlantic City, where she spent her last summer on the East Coast before relocating to Los Angeles.
Now based in Los Angeles and embracing every opportunity, Danielle has appeared in various commercials and print ads for brands like Samsung, AT&T, 5 Hour Energy, and USAA. She has guest-starred on television shows including "Anger Management" and "The Real Husbands of Hollywood." Danielle has also had a recurring role on "General Hospital" as one of the nurses in the Nurses Ball.
