జీవిత చరిత్ర
Solo began his hip-hop career in 1982 at the Trocadéro, performing smurf and breakdance. In 1984, he became a member of the dance group Paris City Breakers. In 1987, alongside Rockin' Squat, he founded the French rap group Assassin. Although he left the group in 1994, he reunited with Squat for several performances, including a show at the Olympia in 2009. In 1995, he took on the artistic direction and coordination of "La Haine," a music project inspired by the film that brought together leading figures of French rap at the time. He also produced the track "Popopop," a freestyle on NTM's album "Paris sous les bombes," and collaborated with Marseille producer Jacojack to remix Princess Erika's song "Faut qu'j'travaille." In 1996, he produced Polo's "Dry Break" for the first Hostile compilation and co-produced "Les consonnes" with Fred Chichin of Rita Mitsouko. In 1998, he performed "Cauchemar sans fin," co-produced with Jacojack, for the closing credits of Mathieu Kassovitz's film Assassin(s). In 2000, he composed "F.U.A" with Uncle O, which was featured in Kassovitz's film Les Rivières pourpres. In 2002, he founded the electro hip-hop group Toxic (combining punk, rock, rap, electro, and jam) with Uncle O. Since then, he has frequently appeared as a solo DJ at the Social Club, "Back in the Day" parties, and in duos with DJs such as DJ Pone, Crazy B from Birdy Nam Nam, Brodinski, Dr. Vince, Boombass from Cassius, and the legendary Dee Nasty. Solo is a resident DJ at the exclusive Parisian club Silencio, designed by David Lynch, yet he remains deeply connected to his roots, often hosting events following screenings of Mr. Rocket's documentary Smells Like Hip Hop. In 2007, he founded the label Black Frog Entertainment and co-produced, with LaBreak Center, the album 36/15 by the electro band Dark Gonzo, MonomaniaX.
