Péter Geszti is a Hungarian producer, lyricist, creative producer, television personality, and activist who has significantly influenced Hungary's contemporary popular culture. Spanning over thirty years, his career has seamlessly blended music, film, television, theatre, and brand storytelling, establishing him as one of the nation's most prominent creative figures.
He first rose to national fame as the co-founder, lyricist, and performer of the pioneering pop-rap group Rapülők, followed by the acclaimed Jazz+Az. Over the years, he has penned hundreds of song lyrics for many of Hungary’s top recording artists while continuously launching new musical projects under his own name.
Beyond popular music, Geszti has emerged as one of Hungary’s leading theatre writers. His partnership with composer László Dés produced *The Jungle Book* and *The Paul Street Boys*, two of the most successful and enduring musicals in Hungarian theatre. Their songs have become staples of Hungary’s contemporary cultural scene, resonating with new generations.
In addition to his artistic endeavors, Geszti played a groundbreaking role in Hungary's advertising sector, crafting award-winning campaigns for prominent national and international brands. His career later expanded into television, where he served as a host, mentor, format creator, and creative executive, becoming a sought-after keynote speaker on creativity, communication, and innovation.
In 2017, together with producer Ditz Edit, he co-founded GRUND Productions, an independent company specializing in premium scripted films, television series, documentaries, and large-scale cultural productions. His producing credits include the feature films *Happy New Year* (2018), *Liquid Gold* (2019), *Hello, My Life!* (2022), and the TV series *Bróker Marcsi* (2025). He also develops and produces large-scale live entertainment, concert productions, and original intellectual properties for international audiences.
Currently, Geszti focuses increasingly on original storytelling as both a creator and producer.
