Domaine Javier is a multiracial American film and television actress, writer, variety TV personality, and public figure based in Los Angeles, with a growing international fanbase. Born in New York City in 1997, she has built a uniquely multidisciplinary career that seamlessly spans entertainment, healthcare, and academia on a global stage.
A distinguished academic, Javier holds ten college degrees, including five associate degrees (one in Fine and Applied Arts with a concentration in Performing Arts), a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, three master's degrees (Leadership and Management, Education, and Family & Primary Care Practice), and a Doctor of Nursing Practice. Alongside her work in entertainment, she continues to broaden her global perspective through Korean language studies in South Korea. She also maintains active licensure as both a Family and Primary Care Practitioner and a Registered Nurse, in addition to certification as a Public Health Nurse in California.
Javier first made history in October 2010 when she became the first trans woman to be crowned homecoming queen in the United States.
She gained international recognition in 2011 through her appearance on MTV's True Life during the series' fourteenth season, later returning for two additional episodes. In June 2020, Javier once again made history by becoming the first openly trans woman to be featured in the Food Network’s more than 26-year history.

In 2022, she received formal recognition from the United States House of Representatives for her outstanding volunteerism and community engagement, particularly during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Most recently, in 2025, Javier portrayed Starling "Star" Smith in the feature film Another Day in America.
