Isaiah Rockcliffe Bio
The striking green-blue eyes belong to Isaiah Rockcliffe, born in 2008. At 4'5" and growing rapidly, Isaiah is a lively actor of Guyanese, Portuguese, and Jamaican descent. Raised in a household filled with music and dance, Isaiah developed a passion for the arts early on, inspired by his mother, a professional hip hop dancer, actor, and model.
Starting his acting career at age four, Isaiah’s first role was in a Shopper’s Drug Mart commercial. Since then, he has appeared in film and television projects including The Expanse (Season 2), Baroness Von Sketch (Season 4), The Handmaid’s Tale (Season 2), Kids CBC, Parental Guidance: Dress Up, and Jay Baruchel’s upcoming feature, Random Acts of Violence. His experience also includes numerous commercials and print ads for brands such as McDonald's, RBC, McCain's, Wal-Mart, Shoppers Optical, and Dempsters.
Isaiah starred in the first part of a two-part corporate short series, Aimee and Zee, for AMD computers, portraying the son of the US Vice President. He has recently been cast in the PBS series How to Hero and will appear as 'Ty' in the upcoming feature film Becky.
On stage, Isaiah’s credits include the lead role in The Adventures Of Pinocchio with The Pirandello Theatre Society, playing 'Oompa Loompa' in Willy Wonka, performing as one of 'The Unknowns' in StompTO Champions 2017 and 2018, and portraying 'D’Lyfe Jr.' in JerkFest 2017.
Isaiah’s training is extensive and impressive for his age. He competes provincially in gymnastics at Toronto Gymnastics International (TGI) and East York Gymnastics. He also trains in competitive dance with Sean Boutilier and participates in the Triple Threat Programme (Singing, Acting, Dancing) at The Randolph Academy. Additionally, he has studied African Dance with Akua Delfish at D’Lyfe Dance Company, Hip Hop with Neeks at D’Lyfe, and Creative Movement with Nicole B. Nigro at Canadian Contemporary Dance Theatre.
Based in Toronto, Isaiah is fluent in both English and French. In his free time, he enjoys skating in winter; badminton, baseball, and soccer in summer; swimming all year round; as well as rollerblading, canoeing, and cycling. When he takes a break, he loves spending time with animals, especially reptiles, having cared for pet geckos since he was four.
