Award-winning writer, director, and producer, born in Paris, France in 1964, son of fashion icon Emmanuelle Khanh and polymath Quasar Khanh. He began his career in 1984 at leading French advertising agencies RSC&G and Publicis Conseil. His passion for filmmaking led him to study at ESRA Paris, followed by work in film and commercial production, as well as roles as cameraman, editor, and director for French television channels TF1, A2, and FR3. In 1993, he moved to Mexico and shot, directed, and produced the Latino American Studies Association Merit in Film award-winning documentary "Ballads without a Face," featuring the legendary rebel leader Subcomandante Marcos. The film's distribution brought him to Los Angeles in 1995, where he engaged with the Latino community and screened his work at the AFI Film Fest 1995. He arrived in Ho Chi Minh City in October 1995 during a solar eclipse, which inspired his 2007 Houston WorldFest Special Jury Award-winning feature "Saigon Eclipse." He directed Vietnam's first TV commercials for brands such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Unilever, and P&G before founding the Creatv Company, a leading motion picture, TV, and commercial production house in Vietnam, serving prestigious international clients like Warner, CBS, and Paramount Pictures. In 2011, he wrote, directed, and produced, in collaboration with Cinétévé (Paris), the 52-minute documentary "Florence Cassez, the Ultimate Recourse," filmed in France and Mexico. Its broadcast on the French national network France 5 ultimately contributed to securing the release of the innocent woman after a 93-year prison sentence. He co-wrote and co-produced the 90-minute documentary "The Tale of An Phuc House," which won Best Feature Documentary at the 2013 New York City International Film Festival and the Jury Award at Vietnam's 18th National Film Festival in Nam Dinh.
