Any Ferreiras is a gifted Dominican actress residing in Los Angeles. She gained recognition at just 14 years old for her leading role in Andrea, The Revenge of the Spirit, the first Dominican horror film, despite having no prior acting experience. The film was a remarkable success, and Ferreiras made such a strong impression that she received a Best Actress nomination at the 2006 Casandra Awards, alongside acclaimed Dominican-American actress Zoe Saldana.
In 2006, Ferreiras was also nominated for The Dominican Republic National Youth Prize, the highest honor awarded by the Dominican government to outstanding young citizens. Additionally, in 2005, she was honored as a Distinguished Daughter of Moca, her hometown, for her contributions to arts and culture.
Following her initial nationwide success, Ferreiras, the second youngest of 20 siblings, paused her acting career to focus on her education and pursue a professional path. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from PUCMM in 2011 and a Master's degree in Management from the University of Barcelona, Spain, in 2012.
Upon returning to the Dominican Republic, she soon realized her passion for acting was her true calling. Ferreiras resumed professional training and secured roles in short films such as La Pinza, Si le amas no le Pegues, El Precio, and Por el Resto de Nuestras Vidas. In 2018, she returned to the big screen with the thriller Botija, earning her second Best Supporting Actress nomination at the 2019 Iris Dominican Movie Awards.
Currently, Any Ferreiras lives in Los Angeles, California, where she trains at The Michelle Danner Acting Studio. She has been cast in various short films, including Strawberry Soda, where she played the lead role of Ophelia in an official selection at the 2020 CATE Film Festival, and COCKSURE, portraying the lead role of Shirley. Any continues to develop her craft and pursue her acting ambitions.
