Stanley B. Gill, an award-winning writer, producer, and director, has spent over four decades working behind the camera and in post-production in Hollywood, crafting compelling stories.
Throughout his film and television career, Mr. Gill has been a pioneer of innovation, leading numerous industry companies and divisions, as well as launching several start-ups. His clientele includes major film and television studios such as The Walt Disney Studios, NBCUniversal, Twentieth Century Fox, Sony Pictures, Warner Bros., Paramount Pictures, DreamWorks SKG, ABC, CBS, Fox, and many others.
Raised in New Orleans and honed creatively in Hollywood, Mr. Gill combines his talents and business acumen as a producer to serve the film and television community in Hollywood South. Establishing himself as an independent writer, producer, and director, he founded New Orleans Moving Pictures Co.
As a writer and director, Mr. Gill has crafted comedy shorts including Just When U Thought, which follows two lost souls navigating Internet dating and the fallout of being dumped via text, only to cross paths again on Independence Day; Get Bingles, about a hapless group of Soprano enthusiasts searching for Mistuh Bingles; and Whack Job, centered on an online job posting that attracts a quirky array of characters.

In 2007, as Local Producer for the 48 Hour Film Project, he "singlehandedly gave the New Orleans indie film community a collective voice overnight." Mr. Gill led an international film competition in post-Katrina New Orleans, revitalizing the independent filmmaking community in one of the nation’s largest film and television production hubs.

Our paths crossed on various projects, and though I was too young and inexperienced to realize I 'wasn't supposed to speak with them,' I spent countless hours absorbing their stories about what drives them.
