Born in Rome, Victor Alfieri was raised as an only child by his mother, grandparents, and aunt, spending summers working in his grandfather's restaurant. With a natural talent for writing, the self-described 'class clown' created a sketch comedy act to entertain his classmates.
At 15, after losing his grandfather, his uncle "Jerry Ross (VI)" became a father figure, introducing him to boxing and entertainment. Following in his uncle's footsteps, Alfieri appeared on the covers of several Italian magazines known as fotoromanzi.
In 1991, a violent encounter with three muggers left his face scarred with over 56 stitches, abruptly halting his career. That same year, Alfieri joined the Italian Police Force until 1994, when he resigned and decided to pursue a career in Hollywood. He then moved to Los Angeles, much to the disbelief of his family in Italy.
With striking looks, versatility in comedy and drama, and a captivating Italian accent, Victor quickly secured acting roles, including appearances on television and two contract roles on daytime TV: Days of Our Lives (1965) and The Bold and the Beautiful (1987).
Since leaving daytime television, Victor has built a reputation both in the U.S. and internationally. He gained international attention portraying a sensitive gigolo in The Roman Spring of Mrs. Stone (2003) alongside Helen Mirren and Anne Bancroft.
Victor starred in two major European productions: he played the lead role of Darius, a gladiator, in Pompei, ieri, oggi, domani (2007), an epic love story produced by DeAngelis Productions, and appeared in the popular mini-series Elisa di Rivombrosa (2003), a period drama based on Samuel Richardson's Pamela, portraying the sword-wielding assassin Zanni La Morte.
He is also featured in THINKFilms' My Sexiest Year (2007), a coming-of-age dramedy set in the 1970s starring Frankie Muniz and Harvey Keitel, slated for release in 2008. Victor plays Fabrizio Contini, a playboy competing with Muniz’s character for Amber Valletta’s affections.
In I-See-You.com (2006), Alfieri stars opposite Rosanna Arquette and Beau Bridges.
In 2007, Alfieri launched his own production company and produced and directed his first short film, J.E.S., a horror/suspense/mystery shot in an ancient village outside Rome.
In 2008, he took on his first lead role in an American production, My Father's Will (2009), a love story filmed in New York City, co-starring Ione Skye, Ron Silver, and Talia Shire. Later, he co-starred in Angels & Demons.
