జీవిత చరిత్ర
Born in Copenhagen, Denmark, to a Danish mother and a West African father, both doctors, she began her career at just 18 months old as a model for the Danish fashion magazine Femina, appearing on three covers before turning two.
By age six, she attended a school near Interlaken, Switzerland, where she quickly learned Swiss German and taught herself English by watching the BBC.
At ten, she lived in the freezing climate of Point Barrow, Alaska, among the Inuit Eskimos, gradually learning their native language, Inupiaq, while attending school in temperatures as low as -70 degrees.
After graduating, at 19, she left a lucrative job and bought a one-way ticket to Santa Cruz, California—chosen after seeing it on a T-shirt during a holiday in Hawaii—to fully pursue her modeling and music career. She was signed by the first agency she approached.
Her first major break in Los Angeles came when Arsenio Hall invited her to appear on an episode of his early 90s show. He brought her back for two more episodes. Subsequently, she appeared on "In Living Color," "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air," "Martin," "The Jamie Foxx Show," and several other TV programs. Her guest appearances caught the eye of director Eric Meza, who cast her as a priestess in the opening scene of "House Party 3." From there, word of this exotic Danish talent spread through Hollywood, and she secured roles in numerous films, notable for her infectious bubbly personality and strong work ethic.
