Samantha Jones is an American actor of stage, film, and television, known for her versatility in both dramatic and comedic roles. Raised in New York City, she began acting at the age of nine and trained as a teen at The Neighborhood Playhouse and LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts ("The Fame School"). Her early career included Off-Broadway theater and independent film, laying a foundation of professional experience before she went on to study theater at SUNY New Paltz.
After college, Jones returned to New York and immersed herself in the city's performance scene-working in film, television, and live comedy. She became a full-time improviser and developed four solo shows, produced by venues including HERE Arts Center, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, Gilda's Club, and the SOLO Nova Festival at PS122.
Her acting credits include roles on Bull, FBI: Most Wanted, Law & Order: SVU, Bull, The Blacklist, and A Murder at the End of the World, alongside lead roles in independent films and over 60 theatrical productions, including Vanya and Sonia and Masha and Spike directed by Michael Schiralli and PIT written by Melissa Annis.
Jones is also a seasoned voiceover artist whose work spans video games, national commercials, and podcasts. She is the founder of Hudson Valley Improv and creator of the Improv Empowerment method-an actor-driven approach to improvisation rooted in creative freedom, vulnerability, and ensemble connection.
A lifelong performing artist, Jones continues to create and collaborate across mediums, driven by a deep love of story and the transformative power of live performance.
