Since 2015, Marc Hirschfeld has held the position of Head of Talent and Casting at AMC Networks. He is a founding partner of Hirschfeld/Flood Casting and acts as a casting consultant for Starz Media, eOne Entertainment, Gaumont International Television, Fremantle International Television, Snap Originals, Content Superba, and CMT Network. Before this, Hirschfeld served nearly ten years as Executive Vice President of Casting at NBC Universal Television. During his time at NBC, he managed casting for all scripted shows on NBC, Syfy, Bravo, and USA Network, including popular series like The Office, 30 Rock, The West Wing, Law and Order SVU, and Friday Night Lights. As the senior talent executive, he was responsible for on-air diversity across all scripted series and initiated and led network-wide talent diversity programs. Hirschfeld earned multiple Emmy nominations for casting the NBC comedy series Seinfeld and won the 1998 Emmy for Outstanding Casting for a Miniseries or a Movie for From the Earth to the Moon. He has received over 46 nominations and eight Artios Awards from the Casting Society of America for excellence in comedy episodic, pilot, and daytime casting, and in November 2007, he was honored with the CSA's highest accolade, the Hoyt Bowers Award, recognizing his career achievements. In 2022, Hirschfeld was elected Co-Governor of the casting branch of the Television Academy. He has offices and homes in both New York and Los Angeles.
