Ahmed Assem is an Egyptian filmmaker and editor with nearly 20 years of experience crafting stories across feature films, television series, documentaries, entertainment formats, streaming platforms, live broadcasts, live events, and award-winning advertising campaigns throughout the Middle East.
Assem’s credits include the Royal Mummies Parade, the opening ceremonies of the Cairo International Film Festival and El Gouna Film Festival, feature films such as Hamel El Laqab, Saqr and Kanaria, and Al Gawahergy, as well as television productions for leading regional platforms including Netflix, Tod, and Shahid.
Throughout his career, he has collaborated with leading filmmakers, production companies, creative agencies, and global brands across Egypt and the Arab world. His portfolio includes feature films, original streaming productions, documentaries, entertainment shows, national events, and commercial campaigns that have reached millions of viewers.
His commercial work has contributed to campaigns for some of the world’s leading brands, with projects recognized by prestigious industry awards including D&AD, Dubai Lynx, & Effie Awards.
