Producer Craig Perry co-founded Practical Pictures with Sheila Taylor in 2004.
Recent projects include the global box office hit FINAL DESTINATION BLOODLINES, the sixth film in New Line Cinema's FINAL DESTINATION series, directed by Zach Lipovsky and Adam Stein, written by Guy Busick (known for SCREAM 6 & 7; READY OR NOT 1 & 2; ABIGAIL) and Lori Evans Taylor (BEDREST), and produced alongside director Jon Watts (the SPIDER-MAN franchise). Before that, he produced Lionsgate's CELLAR DOOR, featuring Scott Speedman, Jordana Brewster, and Laurence Fishburne, directed by Vaughn Stein.
Other credits include Universal's BREAKING IN, starring Gabrielle Union and directed by James McTeigue, produced in collaboration with Will Packer Productions. He also produced the Australian family comedy ODDBALL, directed by Stuart McDonald and starring Shane Jacobson, Sarah Snook, and Alan Tudyk. The film received two AACTA nominations (Australia's equivalent of the Oscars) and won awards at festivals worldwide, including Toronto, Beijing, Seattle, Miami, Chicago, Tumbleweeds, and Heartland. It ranks among the top 25 highest-grossing Australian films of all time.
Upcoming works include FINAL DESTINATION 7, written by Lori Evans Taylor and directed by Michiel Blanchart; REDHEAD, adapted from the graphic novel by Duane Swierczynski; RAMBO DAY, produced in partnership with Distant Planet Entertainment; and FINDING: JANE DOE, an interactive series produced with Emmy-winning director Greg Yaitanes, along with numerous other projects currently in development.
Previously, Craig was a partner at Zide/Perry Entertainment, where his productions included Universal's AMERICAN PIE franchise; New Line Cinema's FINAL DESTINATION series; Warner Bros' CATS & DOGS franchise; Sony Pictures' LITTLE BLACK BOOK and THE BIG HIT; and Helkon Media's REPLIKATE.
Craig also held roles as Vice President of Development at Scott Rudin Productions and Director of Development at Silver Pictures. He served as Associate Producer on THE FIRST WIVES CLUB and contributed to the development of films such as RULES OF ENGAGEMENT, SLEEPY HOLLOW, A SIMPLE PLAN, THE TRUMAN SHOW, IN & OUT, RANSOM, CLUELESS, LETHAL WEAPONS 3, EXECUTIVE DECISION, RICHIE RICH, DEMOLITION MAN, among others.
He appears in the documentary THE HORROR CROWD, directed by Ruben Pla, available on Prime Video, AppleTV, iTunes, and Google Play, and is featured in the JoBlo Original docuseries 80s HORROR MEMORIES.
Craig recently served as an adjunct professor at Syracuse University Los Angeles and has guest lectured at USC, UCLA, NYU, GSU, UGA, Syracuse University, Towson University, Columbia College, Olympic College, and Pixar. Additionally, he has delivered presentations on production and technology at the 2011 Intel Capital Global Summit and at MIT in Boston.
