Pedro Carvalho was born in 1985 in Guarda, a small city in Portugal. During his childhood, he moved to Fundão, where he grew up and discovered his passion for acting. At 18, he relocated to Lisbon to study acting at the professional school ACT. He also attended courses and workshops at Corazza in Madrid. Fluent in Spanish, Portuguese, and English, Pedro initially studied Architecture but ultimately dedicated himself to acting. He enhanced his skills through training in voice, stage combat, improvisation, dance, and more. Thanks to this diverse training and experience, he is a versatile actor.
In 2007, Pedro signed a contract with TVI, Portugal's most-watched television channel. He has participated in over 13 TVI projects, including telenovelas and series. Notable works include the telenovela 'Remédio Santo,' where he played a leading role, as well as 'O Beijo do Escorpião' and 'Ouro Verde.' In addition to television, Pedro has performed in theater, acted in films, and lent his voice to animations and commercials in Portugal.
He won Best TV Actor awards in 2013 and 2014 for his performance in 'Remédio Santo,' which was also nominated for an International Emmy Award. In 2016, he received the Portuguese and Brazilian International Award in New York for his role in 'O Beijo do Escorpião.' In 2015, Pedro was invited to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to star in the telenovela 'Escrava Mãe,' set in the 1830s and produced by TV Record. His outstanding performance earned him a nomination for Best New Actor at the Premio Extra Globo de Televisão.
Starting in 2017, he began appearing in telenovelas for TV Globo, including 'O Outro Lado do Paraíso' and 'A Dona do Pedaço.' Currently, Pedro divides his time between Brazil and Portugal, working on new projects.
