Jeff Pucillo is an actor, producer, husband, and father of two. He recently starred in and produced the lead role in Domenica Cameron-Scorsese’s film "Roots in Water," which was an official selection at the Tribeca Film Festival. He also played the lead in the feature film "The Standard Man" and appeared in "Memories of Overdevelopment," an official Sundance Film Festival selection. Jeff’s television credits include appearances on "Rescue Me," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," among others. On stage, he performed in The Transport Group's Off-Broadway production of "Bury the Dead" and has participated in numerous productions at some of New York City's most esteemed theaters and companies.
A native New Yorker, Jeff comes from a blue-collar Staten Island family of cops, firemen, sanitation workers, transit employees, and other city workers, and can trace his ancestry back to Jacob Wynant, one of the original Dutch settlers of New Amsterdam. He earned a degree in Advertising from Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communications, where he was also the lead singer, rhythm guitarist, and songwriter for the band "The Ghettos." Throughout his life, Jeff has worked in a wide range of fields, including five years as a stockbroker at a notable Wall Street firm, three years as a recording engineer in SoHo at an influential hip-hop studio, seven years as a computer programmer, and five years in consumer research at the largest magazine publisher in the U.S. Additionally, he has held shorter roles as a house painter, soda jerk, gas station attendant, and industrial machine tool salesman—during which he was defrauded out of a half-million-dollar hydraulic press in southern Texas. For relaxation, he restores vintage cars and motorcycles. His diverse experiences have fueled a deep interest in character and storytelling, inspiring numerous ideas for film, television, online, and stage projects that he develops alongside his partner Russell Pflueger at 102 Stories LLC.
