Dara DiGerolamo is a multi-camera television and live events Director with more than 20 years of experience creating programming for network and cable television, live sports, and corporate livestreams.
Her entertainment credits span game, competition, variety, and unscripted programming, including 'Supermarket Sweep,' 'Don’t Forget the Lyrics!,' 'Deal or No Deal,' 'The 1% Club,' and 'RuPaul’s Drag Race.'
Some of her corporate and live event clients include Microsoft, Adobe, Apple, Google, Ford, NVIDIA, and ServiceNow.
Dara was on directing teams nominated for Directors Guild of America (DGA) Awards for 'First Responders Live' (FOX, 2020) and 'Go-Big Show' (TBS, 2023), and earned an Emmy Award for the 2024 'Rose Parade Presented by Honda.'
In 2025, she was selected for the Disney Entertainment Television Unscripted Directing Program, serving as Segment Director on ‘American Idol.’ A longtime advocate of the industry-leading production app Scriptation, she was named a Brand Ambassador in 2026.
A former ballet dancer, Dara brings a deep understanding of movement, rhythm, and visual storytelling to every production. She believes the most memorable live experiences are built through collaboration, preparation, and the creative partnership of everyone behind the camera. Having lived and traveled extensively around the world, she is passionate about fostering inclusive, collaborative production environments where diverse perspectives strengthen both the creative process and the final product.
Born in New Orleans and raised on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, Dara studied dance in New York City while attending Borough of Manhattan Community College before relocating to Los Angeles, where she earned a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from California State University, Northridge.
She is drawn to ambitious productions that push creative and technical boundaries, embracing opportunities to bring compelling stories to life in a live environment.
