జీవిత చరిత్ర
Josh Freese was born on December 25, 1972, in Orlando, Florida, but has lived in Southern California since he was six months old. Raised in a musical family—his father conducted the Disneyland Band and his mother was a classical pianist—he was immersed in music from a young age and began playing drums around age 7 or 8. He started his professional career at 12, performing in a Top 40 band at Disneyland, and began touring and recording by age 15, initially with Dweezil Zappa and the Vandals simultaneously. Still a member of the Vandals, Josh has collaborated over the past decade with notable artists such as Devo, Guns N' Roses, Suicidal Tendencies, Perry Farrell, Paul Westerberg, Chris Cornell, A Perfect Circle, Juliana Hatfield, Mike Ness, and 311, contributing to nearly 100 records. Alongside his work as an L.A. studio musician—his "day job"—he is part of A Perfect Circle, The Vandals, and Devo. In 2000, he released his debut solo album, The Notorious One Man Orgy, on which he wrote, sang, and performed almost all the parts.
