జీవిత చరిత్ర
Charlene Geisler is a German-American actress born in Newport Beach to Annette Geisler, a travel agent, and Dean Geisler, an aircraft mechanic. Thanks to her mother's German background, she holds dual citizenship in the US and the European Union and is fluent in German. She began acting at age six. Inspired by her father’s part-time work as a background actor on HBO’s Deadwood, Charlene decided she wanted to enter the entertainment industry. Initially working as a background actor herself, she soon expressed to her mother her desire to secure speaking roles and pursue acting professionally.
Her first speaking role came in the short film drama 'Let's Talk About Child Abuse,' where she played a 7-year-old girl testifying in court against her abusive stepfather. Shortly after, she signed with her first manager, who helped her secure representation with BBA at age eight. She remains with BBA today, now part of their adult division.
Charlene’s mother was a major supporter, driving her to auditions and assisting with line memorization. Growing up, Charlene developed a strong interest in space and astronomy, encouraged by her father; her grandparents gifted her a high-powered telescope for Christmas. She often says that if she were not an actress, she would be an astrophysicist.
Currently, Charlene is an actress and producer known for her diverse work in television and film. Her credits include roles on Amazon Prime’s 'Hunters,' STARZ’s 'Counterpart,' CBS’s 'NCIS,' and Warner Brothers’ film 'The Hangover.' She also produced and had a recurring role in 'Child of the 70s,' a tribute to 1970s sitcoms featuring Michael Vacarro, Susan Olsen (The Brady Bunch), Ted Lange (Love Boat), Geri Jewell (Deadwood), and Kat Kramer (Little Fockers).
Looking ahead, Charlene plans to continue both producing and acting. She has written several screenplays and short films she intends to adapt in the future. Based in Los Angeles and Albuquerque with her husband, Intimacy & Mental Health Coordinator Cutter Ray Palacios, and their cat Ginger, she spends much of her free time organizing community projects, reading fantasy novels, writing, and enjoying time with friends.
