Mignon Farmani is an American actress, singer-songwriter, and writer born in Compton, California. She is the daughter of an African American mother, Patricia Farmani, and Iranian father, gallerist Hossein Farmani. Her multicultural background informs her work, bringing depth and authenticity to the complex characters she portrays.
Farmani is known for her work across television, film, and digital media, taking on emotionally driven and dynamic roles. Her performances include portrayals such as Naadia Khouri in "Staged: The Series" and Sandra McGee in Oxygen's "Buried in the Backyard," as well as leading roles in independent productions. She has also appeared in a multitude of national commercial/print campaigns and contributed voice work to animated projects, including "The CatNapper" on NatGeoAfterDark.
In addition to acting, Farmani is an accomplished singer-songwriter and creative storyteller. She composes and develops music for film, blending cinematic sound with emotional narrative.
