Rebecca Marshall was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
She is the youngest of three siblings, with older brother Joe and sister April. Of Estonian, Ukrainian, and English descent, this green-eyed Canadian began acting at a very young age.
At ten, Rebecca took part in her first musical and dance performances. By twelve, she wrote and starred as Dorothy in her own production of The Wizard of Oz.
Rebecca started modeling at fifteen. After appearing in numerous print ads, she chose to focus on acting and enrolled in classes at Ryerson University and the Actors Studio.
Her career took off with lead roles in music videos such as "Onion Girl" by Holly Cole and "I Waited" by Chris Cummings.
Following a career-changing move to Los Angeles, Rebecca landed a guest role on CBS's Threshold as Emily Biggs/Candy Cane. She continued to secure roles, including playing politico Carrie Marino on the Emmy Award-winning series The West Wing. Rebecca also appeared in episodes of CSI Miami and Shark and worked alongside actors like Jim Sturgess, James Woods, Dylan McDermott, Peter Dinklage, Ron Silver, Jeffrey Donovan, and Sean Patrick Flanery.
Rebecca appeared in "That's My Boy," starring Adam Sandler, playing the bubbly friend of Leighton Meester. She also starred as Matt Dallas's girlfriend in the dialogue-driven indie film "Life Tracker," which she produced through her company Moxie Lady Productions.
One of Rebecca’s most challenging roles was as a lead in "Raze," directed by Josh Waller. Starring alongside Rachel Nichols, Zoe Bell, and Tracie Thompson, the film is an action thriller about women abducted into an underground fighting ring forced to battle each other for survival.
Rebecca joined the cast of the TV series "Arctic Air" as Lindsay Gallagher, the town's no-nonsense cop, for Season 3. Fans also loved her portrayal of the seductive demon Lola on "Supernatural."
Other notable roles include Tenley Lark in Season 4 of "Franklin and Bash" and Jonas in "Girlfriends' Guide to Divorce."
As a Hallmark favorite, Rebecca’s character Alex on the hit show "Cedar Cove," starring Andie MacDowell, was warmly embraced by viewers.
Currently, Rebecca appears on Season 3 of "Good Witch" as Jessica Carrington, an author who has given up on finding true love.
Rebecca currently resides in Los Angeles with her dog, Sophie.
