I have a habit of diving in before fully seeing what's ahead, and it’s led me to some amazing places.
A bold hippie from Austin arrived in LA with two cats, some shabby furniture, and no touring experience. So when I got offered a job as a guitar technician on the road, I packed up, boarded my cats, and winged the rest. For nearly a decade, I traveled the world working with legendary musicians. Along the way, I visited almost every state (Alaska, I’m coming for you), plus Europe, Asia, South America, and Australia.
After closing the touring chapter, I launched into performing. I jumped headfirst into the sketch comedy scene with Blow Girl, an all-female, raunchy, hilarious group that felt like home. We performed at the Aspen Comedy Festival and soon after, I joined another female sketch troupe, Tomboys in Fishnets, which took me to the Edinburgh Fringe in Scotland.
I starred in my first indie film as a bass player (naturally!) and have since enjoyed countless exciting moments—from my film festival debut in the Slamdance short "Sky Drops," directed by Burke Roberts, to the lead role in Robert Rugan’s "Infected IV."
Recently, I joined the cast of USA Network’s hit show "Colony," starring Josh Holloway and Peter Jacobson, and just finished two independent pilot projects. I also continue to explore my voice through audiobook narration and as one of the voices in the latest season of Netflix’s "Le Treve."
I cherish those raw, electric moments when people come together to create openly and take risks. I’ve spent most of my life chasing those moments and keep jumping headlong into new experiences, winging it as I go.
And one more thing on the horizon—you can bet heads will turn when my one-woman show hits the stage later in 2019.
