Andrew Hawkes, born in Houston, Texas, is an American actor with a career spanning over twenty-five years across stage, film, television, and voice-over work.
Recently, Hawkes guest-starred as Marcus Leonard in "The Shot," the Season 7 premiere of ABC's The Rookie, and appears in the upcoming feature film Finding Faith, set for release this spring.
Early Screen Career
Hawkes made his feature-film debut in Kounterfeit (1996) as Tommy "Hopscotch" Hopkins. That same year, he voiced Siegfried in the TV special Legend of Sarmoti: Siegfried & Roy and guest-starred on Party of Five. Throughout the late '90s, he appeared in Dogtown (1997), Sinbad: The Battle of Dark Knights (1998), Interceptor Force (1999), The Hunter's Moon (1999), and the thriller Contagion (2002).
Television Work
As a prolific guest star, his credits include Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, ER, JAG, Without a Trace, CSI, Dexter, Community, Numb3rs, NCIS, and Chicago PD, among others.
Film Credits
His film work includes Nothing in Los Angeles, The Light, Show Business, and Kajillionaire. He will next appear as Cedric in the psychological drama Finding Faith (directed by LazRael Lison), starring alongside Paula Patton, Keith David, Nadine Velazquez, and Loretta Devine.

A dedicated theatre artist, Hawkes's notable stage roles include Pablo Picasso in Picasso at the Lapin Agile (Steppenwolf Theatre Company), the title role in Killer Joe (The Theatre, Chicago), Jerry Goss in Bug (Lost Angels Theatre Company, LA), and performances in Hellcab (Original cast, Famous Door Theater Company; performed in Chicago, LA, Israel, and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival—one of only 13 shows awarded a Fringe First). Personal Life
Hawkes is married to writer Sasha Hawkes. They have two children, Emma and Jackson, whom he describes as his greatest inspiration.
