Born in Cali, Colombia, and raised in New York City, Jhonattan Ardila is a Los Angeles-based actor working in film, television, voice, and performance capture. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, he has appeared in projects such as Reacher (Amazon), The Boys (Prime Video), In the Shadow of the Moon (Netflix), Jett (Cinemax), Kim's Convenience (CBC), and Designated Survivor (ABC). He has also contributed his voice and performance to Ubisoft’s Far Cry 6 and Watch Dogs: Legion. Known for delivering grounded authenticity and quiet intensity, Jhonattan gravitates toward emotionally complex characters whose stories delve into resilience, identity, family, and redemption. His experience as a filmmaker enriches his storytelling, providing insight into character development from both sides of the camera.
Motivated by a commitment to meaningful representation on screen, Jhonattan has written, directed, and produced independent films. His short film Dreams, which he wrote and directed, premiered at the New York Shorts International Film Festival and depicts the journey of a young immigrant growing up in New York City.
A Canadian citizen and U.S. permanent resident, Jhonattan is based in Los Angeles and available for work across the United States and Canada.
