Joey Carey is a founding partner of Sundial Pictures. His work spans a wide range of themes in both scripted narrative and documentary films, taking on roles including Director, Producer, Cinematographer, and Editor. His credits feature titles such as This Much We Know, Amazing Grace, Los Ultimos Frikis, This Organic Life, Cuban Food Stories, the Emmy-nominated Welcome to Leith, Havana Skate Days, The Seventh Fire, Obvious Child, Jiro Dreams of Sushi, Pariah, Jack of the Red Hearts, and Youth In Oregon. Sundial Pictures has premiered films at festivals like Sundance, Berlin, SXSW, Tribeca, and Toronto, and collaborated with distributors including A24, Magnolia Pictures, Focus Features, and Samuel Goldwyn. Joey has produced projects for clients such as Univision, Conde Nast, Fusion, Repetto, JD Sports, and DoorDash. Outside of filmmaking, he is involved in fashion, focusing on developing the sustainable slow-fashion brand "Dador" based in Havana, Cuba.
