Kathy's passion for performing started at age three in a neighbor's garage, where baby ballet and a vivid imagination sparked her journey. That initial dance class led her from small-town stages to off-Broadway productions, national commercials, and feature films.
After years dedicated to serious ballet training, a high school play shifted her focus from pointe shoes to acting. This change ignited a lifelong devotion to authentic storytelling on stage and screen.
Kathy launched her professional career in summer stock theatre, appearing in musicals like Oklahoma! and Dust on Her Petticoats in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She later served as Professor of Dance in the Drama Department at Cameron University, where she nurtured her passion for choreography and acting. Following her instincts and opportunities, she moved to New York City to train and perform extensively in off-off Broadway theatre.
Like many city actors, she took on occasional side jobs, including a memorable stint as a magician's assistant to America's Got Talent winner Jarrett Parker. This role honed her timing, confidence, and ability to remain calm amid a box of swords. Her work earned notable acclaim, including praise in the New York Times.
Kathy then transitioned to film, television, and commercial projects, with credits on HBO, The Travel Channel, Discovery, ID, PBS, and films alongside Hugh Grant, Ben Stiller, and Sally Field. Most recently, she appeared in a dancing role in Martin Scorsese's Killers of the Flower Moon.
Now based in Oklahoma, Kathy continues to perform on stage and screen, collaborating with local filmmakers, starring in commercials, and contributing to the vibrant creative community. She remains grateful each day to do what she loves and to share meaningful stories.
