Biyografi
Peter Anthony is a multi-award-winning director and screenwriter.
He graduated from The Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen (1999) and earned a bachelor's degree in architecture from École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris (1996). Anthony began his professional career in architecture, art direction, and graphic design. After graduation, he worked as an architect and art director on several award-winning projects.
As a talented painter, Anthony eventually gravitated toward directing and storytelling. Deepening his involvement in theater, documentary filmmaking, and short feature films, he has taken on roles as director, screenwriter, and producer.
In 2001, he applied his skills as a set designer for Denmark's Radio’s interactive flagship program, ROFL, which won an Emmy.
With over 15 years of experience in various national and international film productions, Anthony also produced the music video for Danish rapper LOC, which was nominated for a Grammy® Award for Best Music Video.
Additionally, he has directed or produced short films such as Fat Boy and Candela, the latter premiering at the Rotterdam International Film Festival. He directed international feature-length films including Utzon Returns and War & Love.
Anthony made his international feature-length film directorial debut with The Man Who Saved the World. This hybrid drama blends nonfiction and narrative fiction to tell the gripping Cold War thriller of Stanislav Petrov. Drawing on his diverse artistic talents, Anthony served as director, scriptwriter, co-editor, set design consultant, and graphic designer for the film.
His inspiration stemmed from a fascination with Petrov’s unique story, motivating him to create a powerful and epic portrayal of a pivotal historical moment.
The Man Who Saved the World has been selected for numerous film festivals, including:

He recently completed Nordic Narcos, starting with season one: The Viking, a TV series about the most notorious drug lords in Scandinavia.
