Nima Bank is a distinguished and experienced professional in directing, advertising, and visual content creation. With more than 30 years in the industry, he has developed an extensive portfolio that includes television commercials, feature films, TV series, and independent shorts and feature-length films, working as both director and producer.
Born in 1974 into a notable family within the Iranian film industry, Nima was exposed to cinema and the arts from an early age. At eight, he starred as the lead in the theatrical production of The Little Prince on Tehran’s main stages. By sixteen, he was working as a still photographer in the film industry, becoming the youngest member of the Iranian Alliance of Motion Picture Guilds. He also gained recognition as an actor, appearing in several popular television series.
Driven by a passion for directing, Nima began creating short films and documentaries at eighteen, some of which were supported by the United Nations Office in Iran. His documentaries earned critical acclaim and numerous awards from film festivals.
In 1994, Nima officially launched his career in producing and directing television commercials, rapidly becoming one of the most sought-after and highest-paid directors in the field. In 2006, he founded Nimad Intl., a company that reflects his personal brand. Under his guidance, Nimad Intl. grew into Iran’s largest private TV production house, producing over 3,800 commercial projects and directing more than 1,400 TV commercials himself.
Committed to quality and excellence, Nima assembled professional international filmmaking teams, making Nimad Intl. the first and only company in the Iranian advertising market to earn ISO 9001 and ISO 10002 certifications. The company has produced commercials not only in Iran but also in the UAE (Dubai), Turkey, Sri Lanka, and France.
In 2012, Nima founded 360º Creative Solutions, a full-service ATL & BTL advertising agency. Equipped with advanced technology, the agency quickly established itself as a leader in Iran’s advertising scene, known for its innovation and creativity.
Throughout his career, Nima Bank has received numerous prestigious awards, including Best Director, Best TV Commercial, and Best Visual Effects. In 2019, he directed Iran’s first football talent show, "Setare Saz" (Star Maker), which was a major success. Many talents discovered on the show have since become professional footballers, joining top Iranian clubs.
Between 2021 and 2022, Nima directed "Bandbazi," the country’s largest band music competition. Over 1,000 bands registered, with 110 advancing to auditions. Hosted by renowned Iranian artist Omid Hajili and broadcast on Filmnet, a leading Iranian VOD platform, Nima served as director, producer, and set designer. He famously referred to the competition as “The Easiest Way to Stardom.”
